So the back story is that of an elderly gentleman who lived in a house that was in dis-repair. Bullying teenagers taunted the man with jeers of how his house should be torn down. And because he loved to sit on the front porch he and his spirit were an easy target. Then steps in a hero– who asked for volunteers to help him fix up the old house.
This is what they started with and a simple posting on Facebook that went viral:
And after this post on Facebook went viral:
People started showing up in Pendleton on Goodwin Avenue and when they saw this: People started coming in droves from multiple different states to roll up their sleeves up when the number went over 95 people an official count ended:
And this is the end result of the house; but has restored the faith in humanity to hundreds of thousands of people worldwide! Great job…
